COURSE INFORMATION
Who Is This For?

Customer Service Excellence (Level 3) course for managers in the food services industry who need to ensure service excellence in their organization and coach their supervisees to provide Go Extra Mile service.

On successful completion, learners should be able to:
1. Develop product and service knowledge from different sources of information
2. Identify key areas of improvement in RATER dimensions of team service performance
3. Appraise individual’s service excellence performance for continuous improvement
4. Apply coaching techniques to improve individual’s service excellence performance
5. Prepare coaching plan for individuals with customer service gaps
6. Monitor progress of individual for service excellence

Under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) for food services sector, it is mandatory for workers to complete 2 approved courses. Customer Service Excellence (Level 3) course is on the list of approved PWM courses and will be accepted as one of the two mandatory courses.

About The Course

The Food Services Progressive Wage Model (PWM) will have a “run-in” period from 1 March 2023 to 31 August during which MOM will not take enforcement action against employers that have yet to comply with Food Services PWM requirements.  One of the requirements is for workers to complete 2 WSQ courses from a list of approved courses of which Customer Service Excellence (Level 1) is one such course.
